Common questions
How is this different from the AI Core Audit?+
The Audit tells you what to do. The Build actually does it. An Audit is 2 weeks and ends with a written roadmap. A Build is 4-6 weeks and ends with live, working systems your team is trained to use. Most clients do the Audit first, then decide whether to commission the Build.
What actually gets built during the 4-6 weeks?+
We pick 2-4 high-impact automations from a menu that fits your business: lead capture and qualification, AI chatbots for tenant or client communications, quote generation engines, email follow-up sequences, or CRM setup and integration. The exact mix is scoped at kickoff based on your workflow map.
Do we need to use new tools, or does this work with what we already have?+
It works with what you already have whenever possible. Xero, Sage, Arthur, Landlord Studio, Simpro, Karbon — we build around your existing stack. We only recommend new tools if the gap is significant and the ROI is obvious.
How much of our team's time does this require?+
Expect 2-3 hours of team time in Week 1 (kickoff interviews and access setup), then 1-2 hours per week after that for testing and feedback. The Training phase at the end is one 90-minute session for the core team plus written SOPs.
What happens if something breaks after launch?+
The 14-day post-launch support window covers everything. If something breaks, we fix it. After 14 days, clients move onto the Fractional CAIO retainer for ongoing support, or handle it in-house using the SOPs we leave behind.
Can we phase the work over a longer period?+
Sometimes. If your team is stretched or there are seasonal constraints, we can extend the build to 8 weeks. Beyond that, we usually recommend splitting the work into two separate Builds so each one delivers a clear outcome.
What is the Founding Clients Programme and do we qualify?+
The first 3 businesses in our 3 target verticals (letting, accounting, construction) pay £2,950 instead of £4,950 in exchange for a named case study, video testimonial, and reference calls. Can this fee be credited from a previous AI Core Audit?+
Yes. If you completed an AI Core Audit with us within the last 30 days, the £1,500 audit fee is credited in full against the Build fee. That brings the effective Build cost to £3,450 (or £1,450 for founding clients).
